Yardie was inspired by my childhood in Kingston, Jamaica — riding around the island with my grandma as she delivered souvenirs to resorts, stopping for fresh fruit along the way, and finding even more growing right in her yaad.

We’d pick mangoes, limes, and whatever else was in season, then blend them into tropical juices to enjoy on the verandah as the sun set. Those moments — the vibes, the flavor, the feeling of home — are at the heart of everything we do.

Today, Yardie brings those same island flavors to life with real rum, capturing the warmth and spirit of the Caribbean in every sip.

I named the brand Yardie because it’s another name for a Jamaican. In Jamaica, yaad means your home, but when you’re abroad, yaad means Jamaica itself. It’s more than a word — it’s a feeling of belonging, warmth, and pride.

That’s exactly what Yardie brings to every sip: the taste and spirit of home, wherever you are.
